Return Policy
At The Living Word, customer satisfaction is our priority. We want you to feel confident and supported when shopping with us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a return policy designed to be fair and transparent, while also maintaining the integrity of our products and service.
Please review the details below to understand the conditions, timelines, and process involved in returning an item.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- Timeframe: You must request your return within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Product Condition: The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original condition, with all packaging and components intact.
- Authorization Required: All returns must be authorized by our team before being shipped back. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted or refunded.
Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns on the following:
- Products that show signs of use or wear.
- Bibles that have been opened, read, or damaged beyond original packaging condition.
- Custom or personalized items.
- Final sale or clearance items marked "Non-Returnable."
- Digital products or downloadable content (if applicable).
Fees & Deductions
To keep our pricing fair and continue offering high-quality service, we do charge the following fees on returns:
- Restocking Fee: A 27% restocking fee will be applied to all approved returns. This fee covers inspection, repackaging, and processing.
- Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us. The Living Word does not cover return shipping expenses unless the item arrived damaged or there was an error on our part.
Note: Original shipping fees paid at checkout (if any) are non-refundable.
Return Process
1. Request a Return
Email our support team at support@thelivingword.shop within 30 days of delivery with the following:
- Your full name and order number
- The reason for the return
- Clear photos of the product (if damaged or incorrect)
2. Receive Authorization & Instructions
If your return is approved, we'll send you a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions on where to ship your item. Please do not return items without receiving this RA number.
3. Ship the Item Back
Use a trackable shipping service to send the item back to us. The Living Word is not responsible for lost or damaged returns during transit.
4. Inspection & Refund
Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item within 3–5 business days. If approved, your refund (minus the restocking and return shipping fees) will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval.
Exchanges
At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, we recommend initiating a return for the original item and placing a new order separately.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at support@thelivingword.shop within 7 days of delivery. Include photos of the item and packaging. We will cover the cost of return shipping and send a replacement or refund the full purchase amount (including shipping) once the issue is confirmed.
Cancellations
Orders may only be canceled if they have not yet been processed or shipped. If your order has already shipped, it must go through the standard return process.
